OUR CARBON BALANCE

Hast is much more than just a men's ready-to-wear company. We
we are a committed brand that offers desirable and sustainable clothing.

LESS AND BETTER
Since our creation in 2012, we have been committed to countering the excesses of the contemporary fashion industry. We reject permanent sales and promotions that alter the value of products, as well as overproduction, massive destocking, relocation and the use of polluting materials.
In 2020, we decided to go even further in our approach by collaborating with UTOPIES®, a firm specializing in environmental impact study and strategy. Together, we carried out our own voluntary Bilan Carbone®, with the aim of measuring and reducing our carbon footprint. This initiative demonstrates our strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
WHY DID WE TAKE THIS APPROACH?
It is undeniable that textile production often generates a significant quantity of fabric scraps. Aware of this reality, at Hast, we have taken the initiative to transform these downfalls into opportunities. Indeed, from the start, we considered reusing fabric scraps from the production of our shirts to transform them into upcycled boxer shorts.

This innovative approach allows us not only to reduce our ecological footprint by avoiding material waste, but also to create a new quality product. By giving a second life to these fabric scraps, we contribute to the recovery of resources and the promotion of a circular economy in the fashion sector. This approach illustrates our deep commitment to sustainability and our desire to rethink the way clothing is produced and consumed.

    OUR COMMITMENTS AND OUR LIMITS?

    YOU
are already familiar with some of our commitments, such as using
of natural materials, the use of upcycling, and the use of
compostable packaging. However, we aspire to go even further by
gradually reducing the carbon footprint of our collections, while
maintaining our commitment to style, affordability and quality.
