PREPARE-CLEAN-FEED

Caring for your leather loafers is essential as it helps to make them last over time.

If you have shoe trees (highly recommended), please keep them in the shoes to maintain their original shape during the care process.

Using your horsehair brush, vigorously brush without pressing down on your shoes to remove any excess dirt (dust, gravel, various residues, etc.).

Place a small amount of universal cream on a cloth. Apply it only to the leather of your shoe through small rotating movements without pressing.

MAINTAIN-POLISH-SHINE

Wrap your cloth around your middle and index fingers and rub it over the entire surface of the leather to remove any excess universal cream applied in the previous step. The overall appearance will immediately transition from matte to shiny.

Take your cloth wrapped around your index and middle fingers and apply a bit of cream over the entire surface of your shoe to nourish the leather. Applying a nourishing cream to your leather shoes from time to time is essential to keep them in good condition over time.

Once this is done, you can optionally apply a wax polish to your shoes. Unlike cream, polish does not nourish the leather, but it makes it shine and waterproofs it.

THE CANVAS

Regarding two-tone loafers, the canvas parts tend to accumulate dust more easily.

It is advisable to clean them regularly to preserve their original appearance.

Do not apply cream or polish. Simply use a toothbrush dampened with water and gently scrub.

It is also recommended to regularly apply a "all materials" waterproofing agent to protect the canvas against potential stains and to prevent water infiltration.

BELT

Belts in leather The "size" of the belt corresponds to the length of your waistline. Belt size is traditionally measured from the beginning of the buckle to the hole in the middle. Hast leather belts come in two sizes: 100 and 110 cm (A). If in doubt, choose your usual size. The belts have a width of 3 centimeters (B). You can then adjust your custom model to fit your size precisely. You can easily adjust the size yourself if you have the appropriate tools or at a cobbler (free or charged less than €5). To do this, simply unscrew the buckle, remove the excess leather, then make a new hole in the right place before screwing the buckle back on (C). Braided belts The "size" of the belt corresponds to the length of your waistline. Hast braided belts come in three sizes (A): - Size S = 85cm, length of 100cm from end to end - Size M = 95cm, length of 110cm from end to end - Size L = 105cm, length of 120cm from end to end If in doubt, choose your usual size.
